Borussia Dortmund are on the brink of signing Yan Couto from Manchester City, with the Brazilian full-back set to undergo medical tests in Germany this week.

Last season prove to be a breakthrough for the 22-year-old full-back at Girona. Couto playe a pivotal role in their impressive La Liga campaign, which saw them qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
He feature in 34 league matches, contributing significantly with one goal and ten assists.
Despite his successful loan spell, Couto does not fit into Pep Guardiola’s plans for City’s 2024/25 season. Consequently, the club have sought to cash in on him, valuing the young Brazilian at around €30 million.
